“Convivial Eccentricity” More Poems for People Who Hate Poetry!

The Live Bard

For the past fourteen years, Peter Thomas has traveled the country, from the Gulf Coast to the Great Lakes, appearing before audiences as “The Live Bard”, giving dramatic recitations of classic works of “narrative verse,”—poems that tell a story.

For this upcoming performance, this “affable iconoclast” will recite venerated tales of fanciful humor as well as those that offer insight into the human condition.  He may lampoon a modern poet or two and will include some of his own “narrative verse with an attitude.”
