Finding Hope Through Orpheus

I’m so incredibly excited to return to the stage in the production of Hadestown: Teen Edition as Orpheus. I’ve also been very fortunate to work with some amazing people on the PRO side in Voices of Valor, as we sing American gospel music, and shows like Legally Blonde, All Is Calm, and Jersey Boys.

What separates Hadestown for me personally from all the other shows is how real and raw it is. No matter the person, this show will show something you can relate to, which is beautiful. The wonderful cast and crew who are helping put it together, every time I watch them work, I am in awe of the passion and the way the show flows.

Playing a character like Orpheus is a great experience because of how much he, as a character, goes through, every word tells a story in itself. Having the opportunity to portray him means so much to me. If this character has taught me anything, it’s that no matter how hard life can get, you can always stand up and rise above any challenge. I want to thank ECTC. All glory to God!
